The smaller version of the Standard model, the JR is great for areas to 700 sq. feet. Perfect for 1-2 rooms, especially the bedroom. The Filter is a 30 sq. foot true HEPA medical filter(medium)that is 9.5" diameter and 11.25" in height. It has 6.5lbs mixture of solid activated carbon and zeolite and meets HEPA standards, trapping 99.97% of all particulated larger than 0.3 microns. With foam sealing gaskets top and bottom, it is ideal for trapping large dust particles. The total weight for this filter is 8 lbs. As well as the HEPA medical filter there is a PERMAFILT Prefilter which also traps large dust particles and is designed to be vacuumed from outside and eliminates costly 3 month filter changes. The HealthMate Jr. cleans up to 700 sq. feet efficiently. It is ideal for allergy and asthma sufferers or those with chemical sensitivities.
